CECI Uganda Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct sets out the ethical principles, responsibilities, and expected standards of behavior for CECI staff, volunteers, board members, and trainees, ensuring professionalism, integrity, respect, and accountability in all organizational and community interactions.
Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy
This policy provides a comprehensive framework for safeguarding children within CECI Uganda programs by defining organizational duties of care, expected conduct for team members and partners, and structured processes for preventing, reporting, and responding to child protection concerns.
Finance Policy
The CECI Uganda Finance Policy establishes the principles, structures, and procedures that guide financial management, budgeting, internal controls, reporting, and accountability, ensuring transparent, responsible, and compliant use of organizational resources in line with CECI’s mission and governance standards.
Human Resource Policy
The Human Resource Policy provides a comprehensive framework governing recruitment, employment conditions, staff conduct, remuneration, performance management, leave, discipline, and termination at CECI Uganda, ensuring fair, ethical, and professional human resource practices that support staff welfare, accountability, and organizational effectiveness.
Anti-Fraud and Corruption Policy
The Anti-Fraud and Corruption Policy outlines CECI Uganda’s zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corrupt practices, establishing ethical standards, compliance responsibilities, reporting mechanisms, and disciplinary measures to promote transparency, integrity, and accountable organizational conduct.
Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Policy
This policy sets out CECI Uganda’s zero-tolerance approach to sexual exploitation and abuse, defining expected conduct, prevention strategies, complaint mechanisms, and response procedures to protect beneficiaries, staff, and partners while fostering a culture of dignity and safety.
Procurement and Disposal Policy
The Procurement and Disposal Policy Manual establishes the procedures, principles, and governance structures guiding the acquisition of goods, works, and services, as well as the disposal of assets, to ensure transparency, competition, value for money, and accountability in the use of CECI resources.
Gender Policy
This policy guides CECI’s commitment to reducing gender inequality by strengthening gender-sensitive practices, protecting human rights, and ensuring equal opportunities for women and men in organizational operations and development initiatives.
Finance and Audit Committee Terms of Reference (ToR)
The Finance and Audit Committee Terms of Reference defines the committee’s role in supporting the Board through oversight of financial planning, reporting, audits, risk management, internal controls, and compliance to strengthen accountability, transparency, and sound governance within CECI Uganda.
Organizational Constitution of CECI Uganda
This Constitution serves as the supreme governing document of CECI Uganda, defining its vision, mission, objectives, governance structures, membership, leadership roles, financial management, and decision-making processes to ensure accountable and effective organizational operations.
Board Governance and Procedures Manual
This Board Policy establishes the framework guiding the roles, responsibilities, policies, and ethical standards of the Board to ensure effective oversight, strategic leadership, accountability, and sound governance across CECI Uganda’s operations and decision-making processes.
Conflict of Interest Declaration Form
This Conflict of Interest Declaration Form is used to protect CECI Uganda’s integrity, transparency, and accountability by requiring Board members to disclose any financial interests, relationships, or personal connections that may create an actual, potential, or perceived conflict, and to commit to ethical conduct, disclosure, and recusal where necessary.
